Enjoy a fresh, organic breakfast at our Woodley Park B&B.

Breakfast is always fun at our Washington DC B&B. We don’t want you to feel like you’re eating with strangers, so owners and staff are always present to introduce guests and facilitate conversation. Over the 20 years we’ve owned the Woodley Park Guest House, we’ve gotten to know thousands of guests and engaged in thousands of fascinating conversations over breakfast!

We love to eat healthy foods, and we try to eat organic whenever we can. If you are like us, traveling can be difficult from a healthy-eating perspective. We’re not responsible for your lunch and dinner choices, but we can give you a set of delicious, healthy, breakfast choices. Breakfast always includes

  • Home-made granola, plus a selection of hot and cold cereals
  • Fresh fruit
  • Rich and luscious organic honey yogurt
  • Farm-fresh organic hard-boiled eggs
  • A selection of delicious breads for toasting
  • A selection of great jams and jellies – plus Nutella and peanut butter – for spreading
  • Delicious Swing’s coffees, assorted teas and orange juice
  • Something warm – waffles, pancakes, French toast, Raymond’s steel-cut oats, and individual quiches from our goods friends at 350 Bakery are among the “warm things” offered recently.

For all of our guests with food sensitivities, we always have gluten-free and lactose-free options.

Breakfast is served from 8:00–9:30 AM Monday through Friday and 8:30–10:00 AM Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Whether you’re hurrying out on business or sleeping in on vacation, we’ve got you covered!

Early Coffee

For those who would like an early cup of coffee before breakfast is served, coffee is available starting at 7:30 AM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. If you need coffee – or a full breakfast – even earlier, the neighborhood offers multiple options.

Afternoon Treats

Attending a business conference or hitting all the museums on the National Mall can be hungry work. A snack is a welcome sight when you return to the Guest House after a day of meetings or museums and monuments. Refresh and reinvigorate yourself with an afternoon cup of coffee or tea, and a delicious cookie (or two).
